Ministry Of Minority Affairs Scholarship: MOMA Scholarship is an initiative to help Indian minority students form the Prime Minister. In this scheme, the Government of India provides financial help to those poor students who belong to Minority Sectors or Minority communities like Parsis, Sikh, Christians, Buddhists. Who are not able to do further study for their bright future only due to poverty. About 20,000 candidates get the benefits to continue their education with the help of the MOMA Scholarship.

There are Three Types of MOMA Scholarship:
Initiated to support minority Candidate’s studies at the pre-matric level, the MOMA Scholarship awards up to INR 600 monthly to students of class 1 to 10. To be qualified to apply for this pre-matric minority scholarship, aspirants’ family income must not be more than INR 1 Lakh, and their score in the previous final examination should not be less than 50%.
Post Metric Scholarship Scheme, those Candidates of Govt, as well as Suitable Private Colleges / Universities / Institutions of India, will be awarded Scholarships who want to continue their Study for Higher Education. Many Aspirants leave their study after the Class 12th, especially Girls only due to lack of money for higher research, which is much costlier than Basic Education. It will also cover the Technical as well as Vocational Courses in Industrial Training Institutes / Industrial Training Centers affiliated with the NCVT.
The main objective of this MOMA Scholarship is to award the meritorious aspirants who belong to economically weaker sections and to help them to pursue education from class 12 to PhD and Technical / Vocational Courses for developing their PG skills.
Mean cum Merit Scholarship Scheme; those candidates can take financial Support who belongs to minority communities and wanna pursuing the professional and technical courses. Those aspirants belonging to belonging to Minority communities wish to continue or want to pursue UG, PG, technological and professional courses.

Those candidates who selected for this minority scholarship receive financial assistance for the entire course in the admission form, course/tuition fee, and maintenance allowance. The maintenance allowance is given to candidates for 10 months in an academic year.

If a candidate is eligible for any of these minority scholarships, then, they can apply for it online through NSP. Follow the given below to fill the minority scholarship application form.
Applicants applying for this minority scholarship are selected based on their financial condition. The older candidate is preferred for the scholarship in case of a similar family income.
Applicants applying for this minority scholarship are selected based on their economic condition. In the case of similar financial conditions, the preference is given to the older candidate.
Candidates are selected for this scholarship based on merit, i.e., percentage/marks of last academic course / higher secondary graduation exams.
Scholarships provided to the selected candidates may renew in the next academic year of the course. The national Minority Scholarship renewed when the aspirants pursue the same course in the same institution. To get a scholarship to renew, aspirants, need to submit a certificate to prove that they have secured at least 50% marks in the previous year’s examination.

The management declares the result of these minority scholarships in November and December (Tentative).
