TNTET Exam Pattern – Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Marking Scheme

TNTET Exam Pattern 2020: TNTET, the state level exam, is carried at two levels – Paper 1 (Primary stage) and Paper 2 (Elementary stage). Both the papers are sent in offline mode. There are 150 objective type questions in each paper of TNTET 2020 to be tried within 3 hours.

The Teachers Recruitment Board Government of Tamil Nadu has organized the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) for the aspirants to offer the opportunity of recruitment in the teaching field. And those applicants who are curious and eligible can apply for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test. This can be done by filling the Application Form through online mode.

At the time of fulfilling the Application Form, applicants need to follow the instructions carefully and only the eligible aspirants can apply for this test. From this content, applicants will be able to know the detailed information of the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) in which holds the TNTET Exam Pattern 2020.

TNTET Exam Pattern 2020

The TNTET Examination is of two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II and those candidates who have applied in the TNTET Examination, they should have to start their growth through the Exam Pattern and syllabus. Candidates will be able to know the whole structure of the question paper with the help of Exam Pattern.

Paper I Exam Pattern

  1. The paper is composed of 150 multiple choice objective type questions.
  2. The total time span given to complete the examination is 3 hours.
  3. Questions will be claimed from the subjects like Tamil, English, Child Development & Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, and Mathematics.

Paper-II Exam Pattern

  1. The paper is consists of 150 multiple-choice questions.
  2. 3 hours will be given to creating the paper.
  3. Questions will be asked from Child Development Pedagogy, Maths & Science or Social Science, English, and Tamil.

TNTET 2020 Marking Scheme

  1. A proper marking system is followed in the exam i.e. for Paper 1 and 2, each correct answer carries + 1 mark.
  2. As per the revised exam pattern of the TNTET exam, there is no negative marking for any unanswered or incorrect answer.
  3. Hence, instead of skipping a question, one can use their calculated guess and mark the answer.
  4. For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded.
  5. No marks will be given or reduced for un-attempted questions.
  6. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
