Candidates must have a graduation degree from any recognized university or government organization as on 31.08.2020. Final appeared candidates can also apply for the exam or vacancy.
Below the no of attempts are allowed form the particular categories of candidates.
The age of the candidate must be 21 years – 30 years as on 01.04.2019. Age relaxation for SC/ST- 5 years, OBC (Non-creamy layer) – 3 years, PWD-10 years, Ex-Serviceman- 5 years.

General/OBC- Rs. 600
Basic pay Rs. 27,620 in the scale of Rs. 23700-980/7-32850-1310/7-42020.
The admit card for the preliminary exam can be downloaded from the official website. No hard copy will be sent to the candidates. Candidates must download the admit card and print it original and bring it to the exam centers for further verification with original ID proof.
SBI organizes pre-examination training for SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Religious minority community candidates. The training will be conducted for 7 days before prelims exams in selected cities of India. The date for downloading call letters for pre-exam training will be announced soon.
SBI (State Bank Of India) always selects eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officer (PO) for their banking services all over India, through SBI (PO) recruitment examination every year, which consists of three stages of testing of the candidates. Prelims, Mains, Group Discussion (GD) and Interview. Below is a detailed explanation for these three consecutive stages are given.
It consists of 3 sections. There will be questions from Quantitative Analysis, Reasoning, and English Language. The mode of examination is online. The time given is 1 hour. the full marks are 100. There will be sectional cut off and sectional time as well. The negative marking is 0.25 per the wrong answer.
the mains exam has 2 parts. Objective and Descriptive.

It also consists of 4 sections. There will be questions from Data Analysis and Interpretation, Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General awareness about economy and banking, English Language. The mode of examination is online. The time given is 3 hours. the full marks are 200. There will be sectional cut off and sectional time as well. The negative marking is 0.25 per the wrong answer.
It generally tests English language skills. The candidate has to type an essay or letter on the computer. Full marks are 50 and the time duration is 30 minutes. No negative marking is here.
Selected candidates will go through a round of GD and personal interview after the mains. Then the list of finally selected candidates will be published by SBI in December this year.
