Education  Qualification

Based on the info in the PSPCL Assistant Engineer or  OT (Electrical) & Assistant Manager (IT Systems) Recruitment 2020, only GATE 2020 qualified candidates are eligible to apply against this recruitment and must have knowledge of Punjabi language.

Age Requirement

1. SC and Backward Classes: 5 Years over & above the normal age requirement.

1. The normal recruitment age is over and above 10 years.
2. So, in the case of the following, the upper age limit shall be 40 years :

4. ii) Women who are a divorcee and also

iii) Women whose husbands have been ordered legally by the  Civil or Criminal courts to pay maintenance to their wives.

iv) Women who have been living separately for more than two years.

v) Women whose husbands have remarried; and.

vi) Wives of the serving military(ARMY) personnel and

vii) Also those whose husband is disabled while in Military (ARMY) service.

5. For Serving employees of PSPCL / Punjab Govt. : To the extent of service rendered in PSPCL or erstwhile RESERVATION OR ROSTS for candidates of Punjab Domicile only.

So, reservation of posts for reserved categories is applicable to candidates of Punjab Domicile only. Once, the category is filled it is not changed afterward. Also, no benefit from other categories/ General category will be admissible later on.
