Mumbai University Merit List 2021 Preparation

The Mumbai University merit list 2021 is base on the qualifying exam marks. Similarly, the students submit their marks in the qualifying exam on their pre-admission and admission form. Post-Release of Mumbai University Merit List 2021

After the release of the merit list, candidates will shortlist as per the list. Likewise, they will have to report at the college getting their documents verified. However, once the documents are verified, candidates will have to pay the requisite admission fee for enrollment with Mumbai University. Therefore, candidates will have to carry the following documents while reporting for the document verification

  1. Firstly, a printed copy of the admission form
  2. Printed Copy of Pre-Enrollment form (College Copy) of University of Mumbai (MKCL)
  3. Class 12th mark sheet (three attested copies)
  4. Class 10th certificate or any other certificate (as proof of date of birth)
  5. Transfer certificate/ migration certificate (two attested copies)
  6. Class 12th passing certificate
  7. Photocopy of the supporting document (for Physically Handicap /defense/F.F./Widow /Transfer/Cultural/Sports).
  8. Aadhar Card
  9. Conduct certificate
  10. Minority certificate
  11. Caste certificate (If applicable)
  12. Relevant document to claim reservation of seats

Mumbai University

Mumbai University is one of the first 3 universities in India. It will establish in 1857. Similarly, in April 2012, the University was accorded 5-star status in 2001. In the same way, ‘A’ grade status by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Since the name of the city changed from Bombay to Mumbai, the name of the University was also changed from “University of Bombay” to “University of Mumbai”. It is more popularly known as Mumbai University (MU).

In the NIRF Ranking 2020, Mumbai university has ranked at number 65 in the University category. The University provides affiliation to 700+ colleges in the state. In addition to that, the University has over 50 Departments and 12 specialized centers.
