MahaDBT is also known as Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Maha Direct Benefit Transfer is a renowned Online scholarship portal for Maharastra.

So, the main objective of this MahaDBT Scholarship scheme is to provide efficient fulfillment and spending within the state. Also, it promotes transparency to the candidate’s applications and documents.

Social Justice and Special Assistant Department Criteria

So, this department offers five scholarship schemes. These MahaDBT Scholarship schemes are applicable for candidates who are doing studies at the post -matriculation level. So, the complete details of eligibility of each MahaDBT Scholarship are given below.

1.Government of India post-matric scholarship- Eligibility

  • So, the annual income of the family should be less than 2.5 lakhs.
  • Applicable only for SC students.
  • So, the candidate should be a domicile of  Maharashtra.
  • Also, aspirants should have minimum matric qualification.
  • Only two professional courses at one instance of time.
  • And in case of a student studying out the state, the same criteria are applicable.

2.Post matric tuition fee and examination fee [Freeship]-   MahaDBT Scholarship Eligibility

  • The annual income of the guardian or parent should not exceed above 2.5 lakhs.
  • Applicable for SC students.
  • Domicile of the aspirants should be Maharashtra.
  • So, a candidate should have minimum matric qualifications.
  • Also, the candidate should admit to professional courses only through CAP round.

3.Maintenance scholarship for students studying in professional courses- Eligibility

  • So, candidates need to admitted to professional courses.
  • Also, candidates should be the scholarship holder of the Government of India.
  • So, the annual family income should be less than 2.5 lakhs.
  • Also, candidates who are residing in the hostel are eligible.

4.Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship- Eligibility

  • No income limit specified for MahaDBT Scholarship.
  • Only for SC or ST categories candidates.
  • So, aspirants must be studying in 11th or 12th standards only.
  • Candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75 % in matric exam.
  • And also a resident of Maharashtra

5.Post matric scholarship for persons with disabilities- Eligibility

  • So, Disability grade should be 40% and above.
  • Also, the candidate should complete the course without interruption in between.

1. Post Matric  Scholarship Scheme- Eligibility

  • Applicable only for ST candidates
  • So, family annual income to be less than 2.5 lakhs
  • Minimum qualification should be 10th pass

2. Tution Fee or Exam fee for tribal student- Eligibility

Directorate of Higher Education Criteria

So, this department offers 13 Scholarship schemes for candidates domiciled in Maharashtra. It covers the scholarship of merit and means based. And also for candidates studying at Post -Matriculation Level. So, the complete details of eligibility of each scholarship given below.

1.  Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Shikshan shulk Shishyavrutti- Eligibility

  • So, student domicile is Maharashtra is eligible for MahaDBT Scholarship 2020
  • Also Maharashtra border or Karnataka border can apply.
  • So, the Annual income of the family shouldn’t exceed 8 lakhs
  • Also, candidates  from general category can apply.

2.Meritorious students scholarship scheme [ Junior level]- Eligibility

  • Candidates who are domicile of the state but studying outside can also apply.

Directorate of Technical Education Criteria

DTE is a world-class higher education institute. So, this department offers 2 Scholarship schemes to candidates domiciled in Maharashtra. Thus, the complete details of eligibility of each MahaDBT Scholarship given below.
The two scholarship names are Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna and  Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna.  Both the scholarships criteria is given below-

  • So, candidates should be a domicile of Maharashtra.
  • Students must be a bonafide student of professional or technical courses only
  • Candidates from deemed university not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Admission of the aspirants should be done via CAP ( centralized admission process)
  • 2 children of the family can avail benefits under this scheme provided they are not getting any other scholarship.

School Educations and Sports Department Criteria

1.Open merit scholarships in Junior college level-Eligibility

  • This scholarship is open for class 11th and 12th candidates only
  • Candidates must score minimum 60% in matric exam.

2.Merit scholarship for EBC students-Eligibility

  • So, candidates must score Min 50% marks in matric exam
  • Also, candidates need to attempt and clear exam in the 1st attempt only.

Directorate of Medical Education and Research -Criteria

So,this department give scholarships to those candidates who want to do medical courses.  There are 2  scholarships offer under this scheme. So, the detailed eligibility criteria of both the scholarships is given below.

1. Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj fee Reimbursement scheme – Eligibility

  • This scholarship is for MBBS or BDS similar courses.
  • And the Annual family income should not be less than 8 lakhs.

2. Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance- Eligibility

  • So, the Annual income should be less than 8 lakhs
  • Also, aspirants parents to be labours (registered).
  • And students who have sought admission in cities like Mumbai/Pune or Aurangabad etc are eligible.
  • And Courses MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BHMS are approved for this scheme.

Minority Development Department Criteria

So, this scholarship is offer  by minority department in reference of DTE and DMER. It offers 2  types scholarship to candidates.  The eligibility criteria of each scholarship is given be,ow. So candidates can check it .

1.State Minority scholarship Part II- DHE]- Eligibility

  • So, Graduates or postgraduates courses from streams such as arts/science/commerce/ or law is applicable.
  • And Domicile sbhould be  Maharashtra only.
  • Also, Bonafide student certificate is required for joining professional pr technical courses.
  • So, candidates need to followCAP course allotment scheme.
  • And no other stipend scheme to be availed by the candidates.
  • Also,Family income should  be less than 8 lakhs.

2.Minority scholarship  for students pursuing higher and professional courses [ DTE]-Eligibility

  • So, candidates must have  passed SSC or Matric exam.
  • And Domicile sbhould be  Maharashtra only.

  • So, Annual income of family should be less than 8 lakhs
  • And, female candidates entitled to 30% reservation
  • Male candidates gets 70% reservation in this scheme

  • So, 100% tuition fee waiver (for both govt and non-govt courses)
  • and guardian or parent annual income not be less than 2.5 lakhs]

2.Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna

For candidates  whose parents are registered labours

  • So, for students studying in MMRDA or PMRDA/Aurangabad or Nagpur cities get 30,000 for 10 months
  • And for students in other cities they get 20,000 for 10 months

For other students in general

  • So, for students studying in MMRDA or PMRDA/Aurangabad get 10,000 for 10 months
  • For  Nagpur cities candidates get 10,000 for 10 months
