Punjab JET Result 2020 is releasing on 21st August 2020 for 1st round of counselling. It will release by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training (PSBTE & IT), Chandigarh. However, admission based on marks in matriculation. It is a state-level admission procedure to register the candidates for various diploma courses by various institutions in Punjab state. The process to check Punjab JET Result 2020

Moreover, students can check Punjab JET Result 2020 by the online medium going to the official page. Similarly, the result will announce in June 2020. Likewise, to get the Punjab JET result 2020, students should input roll no. However, those who select should take part in the counselling session based on the performance.

  • Then click on the result link.
  • Likewise, fill the required information such as roll no and application ID.

Selection Procedure

In the selection, procedure candidates must qualify the entrance test as per the minimum cut off required to sit for the counselling. Hence, candidates can check the Punjab JET 2020 Selection Procedure below.

  • Offline Based Joint Entrance Test: Candidates must score marks over the minimum qualifying marks to feature in the Merit List.
  • Evaluation for OMR Sheet: For each correct response in the Answer Sheet, +4 marks added whereas, with each incorrect answer, he/she can lose one mark.
  • Undoubtedly, no marks will deduct for an unattempted question.
  • Preparation of the Merit List: The Merit List will prepare after the evaluation of OMR sheets as per the marking scheme

Punjab JET 2020 Cut off

  • There should be at least minimum marks scored by all the students to get the cut off of the M tech courses.
  • However, the cut off is based on the qualifying score of the Punjab JET test.

Punjab JET 2020 Rank List

The rank is according to the marks of the students, and this process will take place in the online mode only. Undoubtedly, the Merit list will release along with the results. The rank will decide based on marks, and students will get a call for counselling according to the rank.

 

Punjab JET 2020 Counselling

Punjab JET 2020 Counselling is web-based online off-campus counselling which is from 21st July 2020. The counselling procedure will comprise of various steps which are below:

  • Registration: To participate in the Punjab JET counselling procedure, Candidates should register themselves as per the schedule of the counselling.
  • Additionally, candidates should submit their registration details on the website.
  • Selection of Counselling Centre (Counselling First Round): Candidates can choose their choice branch and institutes on the website as per their convenience.
  • However, Candidates will get guidance through short messages on the computer screen.
  • Seat Allotment Result: Candidates who freeze their seat online can view the result after some days.
  • Therefore, after the declaration of result, candidates can check their result.
  • Admission Confirmation: Admission of the candidate will confirm by paying the admission fee.
  • Similarly, candidates should update their status, whether they are joining or not in the institution.
  • Counselling Second Round: If candidates want to update their information, they can participate in the second round of counselling.
  • Likewise, they can change their choice, which will mark as their final choice.
  • Finally, seat allotment will as per the final preferences filled by the candidates.
