Nehru Yuva Kendras was founded in 1972. Later, in 1987, under the government of Rajiv Gandhi, she became Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), an autonomous organization dependent on the Ministry of Youth and Sport, within the Government of India. It is the largest and only youth organization on the ground in the world, which integrates the power of young people on the basis of the principle of voluntarism, self-help, and participation of the community.

There are two main goals for NYKS:

• Provide rural roads for building the nation.
• Offer opportunities to develop your personality and skills.

Volunteers Eligibility

Aspirants who are planning to apply for Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Notification 2020-20;
they have to fulfill the list of eligibility conditions set by the Board.

Educational Qualification

• Aspirants must pass the 10th Class or Matriculation from a recognized board Preference in the Selection process will be given to:
• Candidates having higher educational qualification, merit, and basic knowledge of computer the application will be given preference.

• Aspirants having Smart Mobile phones and basic knowledge of operating different apps..
• Must be members of NYKS affiliating youth clubs.
• Regular students are not eligible.
• Participation of weaker sections will be encouraged and 50:50 gender ratio should be
  maintained to the extent possible.
