UGC Net December 2019 Application: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released their UGC NET December 2019 Exam Dates schedule for the posts of ‘Assistant Professor’ and for ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’. In this article, we have shared the important exam dates; online registration dates and the latest exam pattern for NTA UGC NET December 2019 Exam.
National Testing Agency has released the registration dates for online application, Admit Card downloading examination date and tentative result declaration date for UGC NET December 2019. The examination will be conducted for various subjects at selected Exam Centres spread across the country. NTA conducts the UGC NET Examination twice every year to determine the eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor both’ in Indian Universities and Colleges.

The UGC NET December 2019 exam to determine the eligibility ability check test. This exam is UGC Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of two papers, Paper I and II conducted in a single session no break allowed in between Paper 1 & Paper 2 examination. To eligible forRF and Assistant Professor or Assistant, Professor candidates are required to appear for both the papers.

Below is the simple and easy step by step guide that will help you apply for the UGC.
Step 1: Applicants have to visit the official website of UGC or login page https://ntanet.nic.in/ntanet/root/loginpage.aspx.
Step 2: Then Applicants need to click on the “Apply for UGC-NET December” link then the authentication page will be open.
Below are the list of details to be filled in the authentication form are and it all compulsory information:
Note: Aadhaar Card is not a mandatory document anymore for UGC NET registrations. Candidates can free to provide any other valid Government ID number.
After filling all the necessary details and then candidates are required to click on the Submit button.

3. Mobile Number and e-mail Address:
4. Please provide your own active Mobile Number and e-mail address.
Note: Please provide an active e-mail address and one Mobile Number are valid for one application.
Step 4: Fill in the complete Application Form after thoroughly going through the eligibility criteria for the teaching Posts. Below are some points to remember while filling the Application Form:
a) Other Backward Classes (OBC) – Non-Creamy Layer as per the central list of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website (www.ncbc.nic.in). Thus, the candidates falling in this list may mention OBC in the Category Column. State list OBC Candidates who are not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose General.
b) Provide your complete postal address with PIN Code (Mailing Address as well as Permanent Address) for further correspondence. PIN code of Correspondence Address should be given in the space provided for this purpose.
Note: The NTA shall not be responsible for any delay/loss in postal transit or for an incorrect Correspondence address given by the Applicant in the Application Form.
c) Choice of Cities for Examination Centres: The candidate should select any four cities of their choice for examination of NET June 2019.
d) NET Subject: The candidate should select the NET subject to appear from the list of NET Subjects.
e) The subject at Post Graduation level: The candidate should select the Subject at the Post Graduation level.
f) Post Graduation Course: The candidate should select the Post Graduation Course.
g) Under no circumstances, the choice of cities for Centre and NET subject filled in the application form shall be changed by the NTA.
The Password must be as per the following Password policy.
Candidates are advised to note down their login id and password for future use. Also, candidates can fill in the rest of the application by 9th October 2019.
There is some technical specification of uploading of scanned images. Below is the list of points that are mentioned below table:

Photograph: The photograph must be a recent taken and clearly include the name of the candidate along with the date of taking the photograph. The photograph should not be a matt finish. The candidate should scan his/her passport size photograph for uploading clearly. The photo must be between 10 kb to 200 kb. Candidates are advised to take 6 to 8 passport size colored photographs with white background.
Note: Passport size photograph is to be used for uploading on the Online Application Form and also for pasting on Attendance Sheet at the examination center.
Signature: The candidates are required to upload the full signature in running handwriting in the appropriate box given in the Online Application Form. Writing full name in the Box in Capital letters would not be accepted as a signature and the Application Form would be rejected. The candidate should put his full signature on white paper with Black Ink pen and scan for uploading. File size must be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
Note: The candidate must ensure that the uploaded images are clear and proper.
After successful uploading of photograph and signature, the website will take you to the payment gateway for the payment of Application fees. Candidates can pay UGC NET 2019 application fee through SBI_MOPS (debit card/ credit card/ net banking/ e-challan of SBI).
