PGIMER Result 2020 – Result, Cut Off, Merit List, Counseling

Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh will release PGIMER Result 2020 for July session on June 22. Candidates can check their PGIMER results in 2020 by using the required credentials. Similarly, aspirants should enter User/Login ID and Password in the login window from the official website. Along with the declaration of PGIMER result 2020, the exam conducting body will also release a list containing the names of candidates eligible for counseling.

PGIMER Result 2020 July Session for MD/MS Course will declare on 22nd June 2020. Additionally, the PGIMER Result 2020 January Session MD/MS will announce on 9th December 2019. However, the result or scorecard will appear on the website as per category in the merit list. It will have the name of the student, their roll no, and the total ranks gained in the exam. Similarly, the aspirants securing considerable marks will be there in the merit list.

In case, if there is a tie between the students under the same division, and marks in the entrance test, there will be a tie and which will come to a conclusion on the factors. Moreover, the student who obtains higher marks than the first one will be on the top of the merit list.

  3. Enter the login credentials – User/Login ID and Password.

PGIMER Result 2020 – Tie Breaking

In case two or more candidates obtain equal percentile scores, then the selection is based on the following:

  1. If a candidate secures higher aggregate marks in MBBS examination, then he/she will have the priority than students with lower marks.
  2. In case the total marks scored in MBBS examination are the same, then the older candidate will be selected.

PGIMER 2020 Cutoff

The exam conducting body releases the cutoff of PGIMER to shortlist candidates from the entrance exam. PGIMER 2020 cutoff is the minimum marks that the candidate will have to secure to appear for the counselling round. The exam conducting body releases the category-wise minimum percentile for the candidates.

Merit List

The test takers are added in the merit list for admission based on their marks/percentile/percentage in PGIMER 2020 entrance exam.
