MAH CET Exam Date 2020 will be announced by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra board online. The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra has released a notice that the MAH CET 2020 exam for all the categories has delayed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The state cell board conducts the CET exam annually to give admission to students under different UG/PG courses. The education expert assumes that the state board will release the MAH CET exam date once the lockdown is over. In this article, we have discussed all the important details of the examination.

Maharashtra State CET test cell has earlier released a notice on its official website regarding postponing the exams. The exam for all the categories is supposed to take place from April to June 2020. But amid coronavirus pandemic, the dates have been delayed for the safety of the students.

MAH CET tests the students who want to join the college under the Maharashtra board under various UG/PG courses. Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra board asked all the students to refrain from believing in any rumours and continue with their preparations.

MAH CET Exam Dates

The Maharashtra State Cell released a notification that the CET is deferred. The exam authority has released a timeline earlier but now after the COVID-19. The authority will release new dates for the commencement of MAH CET soon. The state cell conducts the CET exam for admission of students under various UG/PG courses.
Every year thousands of students appear for the MAH CET exam. It is a single entrance exam for admission in different colleges of Maharashtra. Post the COVID-19 outbreak, there were a lot of rumours but the notice has busted all of them.

Undergraduate Courses under MHT

BE The candidate must have completed his HSC from a recognized board with 50% marks.

The candidate must be a domicile of Maharashtra.

The mother tongue of candidates must be Marathi.

The candidate must have completed his HSC with PCM as the main subject.

B. Tech The candidate must have completed his HSC from a recognized board with 50% marks.

The candidate must be a domicile of Maharashtra.

The mother tongue of candidates must be Marathi.

The candidate must have completed his HSC with PCM as the main subject.

Postgraduate Courses under MHT

MCA The candidate must have completed his Bachelor’s in Computer Applications from a recognized University in a 3 -year course with 50% marks.
M. Arch The candidate must have completed his Bachelor’s in Architecture from a recognized University in a 4-year course with 50% marks.
MBA The candidate must have completed his Bachelor’s from a recognized University in a 3 -year course with 50% marks.

Exam Pattern of MAH Common Entrance Test

The MAH CET exam will be of objective nature, with 4 sections. There will be no negative marking for the exam. The exam pattern of CET for various UG/PG courses are as follows:

MHT CET Admit Card 2020

The state cell board will release the Admit Card for the CET exam on the official website. The candidates should check the website regularly for further updates. The earlier date for the admit card download was last week of March 2020. The students should keep an eye on the website for the latest information about the admit card. The CET admit card released by the college will be valid for the exam. The MAH CET admit card also helps students to check MAH CET Result.

The college will release the MAH CET hall ticket and the candidate should print the admit card and keep it safe. The entrance cell will release the CET hall ticket before 20- days of the exams. The students should keep a regular check on the website for regular updates. The candidates will have to enter their roll number and password to download the admit card.

MAH CET MBA Counselling Process

The counselling process for the students starts right after the results are declared by the MAH CET authorities. Counselling process helps in the allocation of seats in the different colleges, that register themselves under this MAH CET. There is a list of top colleges of Maharashtra, which pick up students from this common entrance test. MAH CET Counselling process is very simple, the conducting body will release some steps which students have to follow.

  • Visit the official website of the MAH CET.
  • Click on the Counselling tab for MAH CET.
  • Fill all your details, such as name, marks scored in the CET, DOB, Exam Centre details.
  • The form may/ may not ask you for 3 dates for the counselling.
  • Submit the form by paying the fees.
  • Download the hard copy of the application form.

The candidates should make sure that they are present on the allotted date with all the documents asked as failing to do that will cost them lose their seats. After all the process is over, the competent authority will allot the college on the basis of marks and performance in the interview process.
