Established in 1909, this is the main State-funded government college. There are other colleges that are affiliated with the University of Calcutta but this is the University’s department. It offers a 5-year BALLB (Hons) program divided into 10 semesters having a fee structure of Rs. 35,000/- yearly. It also offers a two year LLM program having a fee structure of Rs. 1,79,000/-.
