JNCASR Admission 2021 – M.S , PhD, And Integrated PhD Admission Online

Jawaharlal Nehru Centre For Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) has begun its JNCASR Admission process.  Advertisement for admission is live on the institute’s website. The JNCASR admission advertisement is live since the month of February 2021. Applicants can now apply online on the official website for admission.

The institute offers only Post Graduate (PG) and Ph.D. courses and there are no Under Graduate (UG) courses at the offer. The admission process involves the entrance test and interview. The institute also offers an Integrated Ph.D. program. The institute offers courses only related to the domain of Science and Research. JNCASR admission applications are open online on payment of the application fee.

Eligibility Criteria for PG & Ph.D. Courses

JNCASR Admission  Eligibility criteria vary for Post Graduate (PG), Ph.D., and Integrated Ph.D. program.

Eligibility for PG Courses that is M.S.(Engg.)

JNCASR also gives PG Diploma in Science Education (PGDSE) and Materials Science (PGDMS) courses for the duration of one year. The application method for these courses starts in the month of June and the selection process is arranged on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination. Final admission is subject to the performance in interview and academic record.

  • Candidates who have done M Sc., B E, B Tech, M E, M Tech or MBBS are eligible to apply
  • Must have at least 50% in their highest University examination
  • Qualified in either the GATE / JEST/GPAT or UGC or CSIR – NET-JRF/ ICMR – JRF / DBT-JRF/ INSPIRE-JRF

JNCASR Admission Eligibility for the Master’s program in Chemistry:

  • Candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks at the B.Sc
  • B.Sc must be in specializations like Material Chemistry or Chemical Biology

Eligibility for the Ph.D. program:

  • Candidates who have done M Sc., B E, B Tech, M E, M Tech, or MBBS are eligible to app
  • Must have at least 50% in their highest University examination
  • GATE / JEST/GPAT or UGC or CSIR – NET-JRF/ ICMR – JRF / DBT-JRF/ INSPIRE-JRF qualified

Eligibility for the Integrated Ph.D. program:

  • Candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks at the B.Sc
  • Candidates appearing for their final examination in B.Sc. can also apply

Application for all the courses can be filled JNCASR Admission online by visiting the official website of JNCASR. The following process can help you make an application:

  1. Visit the official website of JNCASR or click here.
  2. Click on the JNCASR Admission application
  3. Fill in details for registration and set the login password
  4. Now log in with the details
  5. Choose the program say PG, P.hD. etc for which you want to apply
  6. Fill and submit the application form online
  7. Upload all the necessary documents as asked for
  8. Pay the application fee
  9. Click on submit and preview
  10. Now, click on edit (if any mistake is noted in preview)
  11. Click on final submit
  12. Take a print out of the filled application form
