**Candidates who have been appointed as teachers before the National Council for Teacher Education second Amendment Regulation, 2010, for the 50% marks in graduation or post-graduation shall not apply.
** Only candidates who are teaching in classes IX, X, XI, and XII are eligible for the Deputed category. The teachers from Secondary and Higher Secondary schools affiliated to the W.B.B.S.E/W.B.C.H.S.E. are required to produce a copy of the appointment letter from the District Inspector of Schools and a No Objection Certificate from the Managing Committee of the school duly countersigned by the District Inspector of Schools ( The Managing Committee must clearly clarify whether the teacher teaches in classes IX, X, XI, and XII), during the time of interview and admission. The University shall not take any responsibility for the disbursement of deputation allowance.
**The candidates who have passed his/her last examination through a distance learning mode have to sit for a written qualifying test to be eligible for admission.
** All candidates should complete the Bachelors (Honours) level including all the generic papers.
** Selection of teachers under Deputed category will be based on several years of uninterrupted and approved service in any Government or Government aided institution.

BC-16014/1/82-SC dt.06/08/1984 & BCD-1, D.O.12017/11/89- SCD(R.CELL) dt.09/01/1990 and letter No.1510-SCW dt.31/05/2007 from the Government of West Bengal, Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of any state other than West Bengal are not entitled to get the benefit of reserved quota in Educational Institutions in West Bengal. Such students may get the benefit of a reserved quota if they have a domicile certificate of 10 years residency in West Bengal.
