Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will conduct CTET 2020 on 5th July 2020. The application form for CTET 2020 was released on 24^th January 2020. The Board is likely to release the admit card of the exam in the month of June 2020. They will conduct the exam soon and will announce the result thereafter. Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi every year. The Board has released the application form from 24^th January 2020. The exam will be conducted on 5^th July 2020. There will be two papers of CTET 2020.

Those who want to be a teacher for classes I to V have to appear for Paper I and those who want to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper-II. And if the applicant wants to be a teacher for both levels, then they will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II). CTET 2020 Eligibility

Primary Stage (Classes I-V):

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE, or

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of:

2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, or

4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed), or

2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education), or

Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

Elementary Stage(Classes VI-VIII)

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or

Graduated with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), or

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE, or

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed), or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed, or

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Central Teacher Eligibility Test Admit Card

The Board is expected to release the admit card in June 2020. The candidates can download it by visiting the official website. They can check the link of Admit Card on the home page of the official website. The candidates should have their correct login details to download the Admit Card.

There are certain steps which you should follow to download the Admit Card:

Find the link for the CTET Admit card 2020 and click on it.
Login with your details like Registration No & DOB.
Click on the submit option and download it.

You can download the admit card from the official website. After downloading the admit card you need to verify your mentioned credentials in the admit card with the actual one. Important instructions

There is a set of instructions which students should take care of before appearing for the exam:

Try to reach the exam hall before 90 minutes of the commencement of the exam to avoid any glitch in reaching the centre.
You must carry the admit card and photo id proof to the exam hall.
Always carry your stuff like a pen, pencil, or other Stationery.
Carry a xerox copy of your admit card beforehand to avoid any kind of inevitable circumstances
Items prohibited in the exam hall are electronic gadgets, mobile, calculator.
Do not try to copy or cheat in the exam instead do as much as you know.
