Check the eligibility criteria before applying for admission to Cotton University:

• To apply for a Ph.D., the applicant must be held a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 50% marks. Along with this, the candidate must have a valid NET / SLET score.
• To apply for B.Sc. in Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science and IT, Physics, Statistics, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Anthropology, Economics, the aspirant must have completed Class XII with at least 50% marks in PCM.
• B.A. in Geography, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, English, Hindi, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Sanskrit, Anthropology, Economics, Education, History, and Philosophy, the applicant must have completed Class XII
• BCA, a candidate must have acquired at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in aggregate along with English as a mandatory subject.

Selection Criteria:

Admission to the above-mentioned courses will be based on the applicant’s merit in Class XII.

• For admission to M.Sc. in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Botany, Environmental Biology and Wildlife Sciences, and Zoology, the candidate must be possessed with a B.Sc. degree with at least 50% marks.
• For MA in Geography, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Sanskrit, Anthropology, Economics, Education, History, Philosophy, Psychology, and Sociology, the aspirant must be possessed with a B.A. degree with at least 50% marks
• To apply for MCA, the applicant must have done BCA with a minimum of 50% marks and must have studied Mathematics at Class XII level.

Admission to the above programs will be done based on the candidate’s performance in CPGEE the eligible students include the following:

• Post Graduate Scholarship for SC/ST students for undertaking professional courses
• PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship scheme for a single girl child
• Post Matric Scholarship to Students of Assam.
• To avail of the scholarships, upload the income certificate along with the form and submit the same for verification purposes to the scholarship section.
