WBJEE 2018 (West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam)

WBJEE is a state government based Joint Entrance Examination. WBJEE board was formed in the year of 1962 to take Common Entrance Examination for Undergraduate and Level Engineering Courses in West Bengal.

The WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) exam is taken for the admission of undergraduate and PG level Courses available in Engineering & Technology, Architecture in Pharmacy in Universities, Government Institutions as well as Self Financing Engineering and Technology Institutes in West Bengal.

Applicant can get the opportunity to seek admission to many UG and PG level Courses in West Bengal by submitting application forms online and completing the admission procedure.

WBJEE was earlier responsible for the Dental and Medical courses but after the introduction of NEET, the colleges start to accept NEET scores as the basis of admission to the Medical and Dental program offered in college within state of West Bengal.

According to WBJEE officials and website, the online application of 2018 will start from the 1st week of January 2018. After successfully completing the application exam will be taken on 22nd April 2018.

Eligibility for WBJEE:

Applicants those are willing to appear for WBJEE must follow the eligibility criteria to apply for the examination.

Citizenship:

Applicant applying for exam must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit:

Applicants those who are appearing for examination in Engineering /Technology Pharmacy, Marine Engineering and Architecture programs must be 17 years old as on 31th December 2018. The maximum age limit for WBJEE is 25 years old as on 31st December 2018.

Qualification Eligibility:

Applicant should passed the 10+2 or Higher Examination with physics and mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Computer Science/ Biology and Computer Application as compulsory subject with individual passing marks in all the subject.

General category applicants must get at least 45% marks and reserved category 40% in the above mention subject together.

Applicant should have clear English exam in 10+2 examination with 30% marks.

The applicant 10+2 examination board should have recognized from Central Government or State Government.

  2.    19 January 2018    –  On – Line application end date.
  3.    24 January 2018   –  On – Line Downloading Confirmation Page.
  4.    26 January 2018   –   Correction Window Start.
  5.    28 January 2018   – Correction Window End date.
  6.    12 April  2018        –  Applicant Can Download Admit Card.
