NTSE Application Form 2020: The National Talent Search Examination NTSC form 2020 has been released by SCERT for 10th Class students on their official websites http://www.ncert.nic.in. Selected for NTSC Students can get scholarships of rupees 1250 per month for class 11 and 12th, rupees 2000 for UG & PG and a fixed amount of scholarship for P.hd Students according to UGC norms. Students can get the NTSE application form from their respective schools and colleges or else applicants can easily fill online through their official website. In some of the States have an application fee for National Talent Search Examination and in other states, it has some fee for the registration. It is advised to all students have to fill only correct details in the NTSE form otherwise the authority will reject their NTSE application without given notice. NTSE Selection Process The selection process for the National Talent Search Examination consists of two stages and every student has to go through these two-stage process. Each stage has a written examination round. The 1st stage of the NTSE exam is conducted by State and the second of the NTSE exam is conducted. This scholarship helps students to give financial support to those students who are good in studies. Candidates only are considered selected if they qualify in both papers separately with merit. The selection of giving of the scholarship will depend on the total number of marks in Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The qualification marks for NTSE scholarship is 40 % for General category students in each paper and for SC, ST, and PH is 32% In each paper NTSE Scholarship Details Scholarship during Class 11 and 12 Rs 1250 per month Scholarship during UG and PG Rs 2000 per month Scholarship during PhD As per UGC norms NTSE 2020 Selection Examination Pattern The Selection exam is divided into two parts and each part has 100 marks each. Part -1 is the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Part-2 is called the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Both Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Part-2 Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is administered and conducted by NCERT. The pattern for the NTSE written exam is given below table. Mental Ability Test (MAT): There will be 100 multiple choice questions with four alternatives and each question carry one marks each. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): There will be 100 multiple choice questions with four alternatives and each question carry one marks each. Usually, the application is made available in the month of August every year this year also predicted form will be available in August. Many states have already released the application form as shown in the above table. NTSE Scholarship 2020 Eligibility Criteria All candidates must know the eligibility criteria before online filling the application form. Those candidates who didn't fulfill the eligibility of the application will not able to apply in any case. Given below are the eligibility criteria set by NCERT for school and graduation students. NTSE Eligibility for school students: The student must be appearing for class 10 examination from Government or Government recognized the school. Students who have applied for class 10 through open learning can also apply and appear for the NTSE exam. Age must be less than 18 years. All standards from class 1 to class 10 must be cleared. NTSE Eligibility Criteria for graduation students: A student must be appearing for class XII from the Government or Government recognized school. Students from the Class 11 examination must have been cleared without backlogs. No backlogs in class 12 examination final results declared by CBSE or state boards. Class 10 examinations must have been cleared with a minimum of 60 percent marks. No age limit is defined. How to Apply For NTSE Scholarship 2020 The NTSE application can be done offline, first of all, candidates have to the fill Application form offline after downloading it from the official website. Students can also get their Application form from the office of Liaison Officer in their district. Once, candidates fill all the information in the NTSE form then candidates can submit the form send via post to the address of State Liaison Officer. Candidates can also submit the application form by visiting physically at the address of the liaison officer. Note: Please don't Over Write anything in the NTSE form it maybe your form will be rejected. Step 3: Candidates have to get the attest from the Principal their NTSE 2020 Application Form. Step 4: Application fee as specified by the state/UT needs to be remitted by the candidates. Step 5: Candidates can submit their Application Form in the Liaison Office via post or visiting the address of liaison officer. Dark background. No goggles only simple spectacles. No makeup in the photograph clicked for the form. Hair must be properly tied. The photograph must be clicked in school uniforms. Indian nationals do not have to produce any document with the application form.
