Good Morning, Dear Principal, Teacher, friends.
Republic Day Speech: Indian Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26th January. It is a very important day for the people of India we have been celebrating the Republic Day of India since 1950 on the 26th of January. This is the day when the Constitution of India came into force and made India a democratic republic country. This day is significate because we became of Sovereign country and we will be following our constitutional values and guidelines. We are all proud citizens of India.
Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was the chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee that wrote the constitutions of India. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was our first president of India, had asked us to think more of our duties than of our rights. Jawaharlal Nehru, our first Prime Minister too, has again given us the same message.
This is also a day of reunion. The people celebrate this day with the whole family. People wear new clothes and start the day with the National Song (Vande Mataram) of India. The Celebrations in the Capital (New Delhi) is the most stunning by the Government of India. A great Parade of the Indian Armed Forces is held at Rajpath New Delhi.
The Parade starts from the Vijay Chowk and Concludes at India Gate. Indian Armed Forces which Compress the Indian Army. Indian Navy and Indian Air-Force, Demonstrate their weaponry and vigor to the general public. After the Parade of the Armed Force, all the states of India display their Thanks exhibiting their culture and tradition Under the Theme of ‘Unity in diversity in India’ Folk Dances and songs of India are also presented by the Participants. However, the various cultural program is held in schools and colleges across the Country.
Our Flag
The Indian National Flag Comprises Three Horizontal color bands in equal proportion and is commonly referred to as the ‘Tricolour’.
- Saffron – Represented Courage and Sacrifice
- White – Represents Honesty, Peace, and Purity
- Green – Represents faith and chivalry and also prosperity, vibrancy, and life.
Ashok Chakra, also known as ‘Dharma Chakra’ or ‘Wheel of Law’ is in navy blue and made of 24 spokes. The Indian Flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya and was first presented at the Constituent Assembly on 22nd July 1947.
Republic Day of India is a Gazette public Holiday and people all over India celebrate the republic day with a great spirit of patriotism and joy. This lets us memorized the honored Soldiers and Leaders who have Sacrifices their Lives for the sake of our independence. It revives the emotion of nationalism in each person of our country.
