IBPS SO Recruitment Process

IBPS SO Recruitment Process has been conducted through three-phase. Candidates will have qualify all phases to get final interviews. Three Phase did as:

  1. Online Preliminary Examination
  2. Online Mains Examination
  3. Interview Process

IBPS SO Exam Syllabus

Before appearing for any exam is it very important to know the IBPS syllabus. IBPS SO Preliminary Exam is the first step of the selection round of IBPS SO 2020-20 Exam. Those cleared the Preliminary Exam are only eligible to appear in the mains exam. The IBPS SO Syllabus and exam is divided into two sections.

Preliminary Exam

The Preliminary Exam of IBPS SO 2020-20 consists of major sections: Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude / General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry

Mains Exam

The IBPS SO main exam syllabus consists of four major portions. The main syllabus consists of Reasoning, English Language and General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry

IBPS SO Apply Online

Step 1: Candidates are first required to go to the IBPS’s authorized website www.ibps.in and click on the                       Home Page to open the link “CRP Specialist Officers”.

Step 2: Then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- Specialist Officers (CRP-SPL-               IX)” to open the On-LineApplication Form.

Step 3: Candidates will have to click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering their basic information in the online application form. After that, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Note down the Provisional registration number and password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. They can reopen the saved data using the Provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars if needed.

Step 5: Login with the details that email to you and fill all the necessary details.

Step 6: Applicants are advised to carefully fill in the online application form themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the online application form will be possible/ entertained. Prior to submission of the online
application, candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. No change is permitted after clicking on FINAL SUBMIT
Button.

 Step 7: Candidates are required to upload their:

  1. Photograph
  2. Signature
  3. Left Thumb Impression
  4.  A handwritten declaration

Step 8: Now Candidates have the option of making the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges
through ONLINE mode only.

Step 9: If the online transaction has not been successfully completed then, candidates are advised to login again with their provisional registration number and password and pay the Application Fees/ Intimation Charges online

Step 10: On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated.

Step 11: Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form containing fee details. Please note that if the same cannot be generated then the online transactions may not have been successful.

FAQ Question

Q 1: How do I know that my application is registered?

Answer: Successful Registration is indicated by the Page displayed after clicking the Submit Button
indicating the generated “REGISTRATION NO.” and “PASSWORD”. Please note down the same carefully
and preserve it. If you do not preserve it, you will not be able to Re-Print the Application and download
the Call Letter, results, etc.

Q 2: I did not receive the email intimation for registration of my application?

Answer: “REGISTRATION NO.” and “PASSWORD” are also sent by auto-response Confirmation emails.
Delivery of these emails purely depends upon the correctness of E-Mail ID provided, Policy of your Email Service Provider to accept and Divert such emails under Bulk or Spam Mails or bounce back such
mails without accepting it due to a heavy number of emails generated by our Applications.

In case of Govt./official /company Email Ids, delivery is controlled by your Company Policies. Therefore, please do not expect replies from us, if you do not receive such confirmation / auto-response Emails.

Q 3: How do I re-confirm that my application is saved?

Answer: In case of doubt about the successful Registration, candidates are advised to visit the Page for
Re-Print of Application / e-Receipt, generate the Printout and preserve the soft copy and hard copy
(printout) of the Application.

Q 4: I got Blank / Zero Registration No. after submission of the application on-line?
Answer: In rare cases, Candidates may get Zero (0) Registration No. with valid Password. Candidates are
advised to Re-Register the Application and check the Printout through Re-Print Application.

Q 5:  After filling up the complete form, I got Blank Screen / Internet got disconnected / My PC closed/hanged/ shutdown. Is my application saved/registered?

Answer: Please refer to Point No.3. If you do not get the application printout / e-Receipt through the RePrint option, your application is not saved. Please re-apply.

Q 6: I did not receive the acknowledgment/reply to my email communication?

Answer: “Reply to” Email Id for the Application is created for the convenience of the Candidates for
genuine communications. Please do not use this address to send back the emails for “Acknowledgment”,
“Vacation Mail”, “Friendship Offers”, “Sales Offers” etc. Our Email Server is configured to delete such
emails automatically.

Q 7: What details should I retain while replying to auto-response emails?

Answer: While writing back by replying the confirmation emails for genuine problem, please retain the
text containing “REGISTRATION NO.” and “PASSWORD” details on the email.

Q 8: What details should I provide while writing for the problem?

Answer: Please do not forget to provide the following details while writing to us:

  1. REGISTRATION NO.
  2. MOBILE NO.
  3. DATE OF BIRTH &
  4. FULL NAME as entered in the application.

In case of application failure or any error message, we would like to have the screenshot of the error in JPG, GIF format or as MS Word file. Additionally, you may provide the PC Details including the Operating System (like Windows XP, Vista, Linux, etc.) & Internet Browser & version (like Internet Explorer 6.0, Mozilla 3.0, Firefox 3.5, etc.) used.

Q 9: I want to change/correct the details I entered in the Application?

Answer: Prior to the submission of the online application, please choose the ‘EDIT’ option to correct the
details. Please remember to take fresh print out after modifying any details. The candidate should note that
the data entered cannot be modified after finally submitting the application.

Q 10: What should I do if there is a lot of delay in accessing the page?

Answer: Speed for Registration of On-Line Application on the Internet, is based on various factors like
Internet Speed, a large number of applicants trying to register the application at the same time, etc.
Therefore if you are not able to get the pages for registration immediately, please retry after a gap of 15
minutes or during off-peak hours in the night.
