The IBPS has published an advertisement in a national newspaper that IBPS Specialist Officer application will be available soon. According to the latest notice, the preliminary test will be conducted on 26 December 2020 and 27 December 2020 while the mains will be held in January 2021. Eligibility
The eligibility of IBPS Specialist Officer is decided on 3 factors viz Age, Citizenship and Educational Qualification.
- The candidate should not be more than 35 years and not less than 25 years while applying for the examination.
- There are some posts which require work experience of some duration.
- The applicant must be a graduate with a post-graduate degree in Law/Finance/ Economics to qualify for the selection.

Agricultural Field Officer | The applicant should have completed his 4-year Bachelor degree from a government certified college in Agriculture/Horticulture/Fishery/Veterinary Science stream. |
Rajbhasha Adhikari | The candidate must have completed his 4-year graduation degree from a government certified college in English with Hindi as an optional subject or in Hindi with English as an optional subject. |
Law Officer | The candidate must have completed his post-graduation/graduation from a government certified college in the LAW domain,
He must be recognised by the Bar Council of India. |
HR Officer | The candidate must have completed his post-graduation/MBA from a recognised university in Human Resource or labour law with at least 55% marks in PG. |
Marketing Officer | The candidate must have completed his post-graduation/MBA from a government certified college in the Marketing domain at least 55% marks in PG. |
How To Apply For IBPS Specialist Officer Form?
The application form of the IBPS Specialist Officer 2020 is available on the official website. The candidates need to follow the steps to fill the form:
- Visit the official website or click here.
- Click on Apply online,
- Open the application form of IBPS SO
- Click on new Registration on the portal,
- Enter your name, mobile number and email id on the portal,
- Note down the login credential details,
- Log in with your official credentials on the website,
- Attach candidate photo in the Jpeg format
- Upload candidate scanned signature and scanned copies of the documents asked
- Fill in all-important candidate details like Name, Address, Qualification
- Attach candidate thumb impression in the Jpeg format
- Upload candidate hand declaration in black ink in own handwriting,
- Pay the application fees which is Rs 850 for general candidates while Rs 150 for SC/ST candidates.
- Download the application form for future use.
