Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the tentative examination dates for IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam. As per  IBPS Calendar, IBPS Clerk 2018-19 Prelims examination is arranged on 08.12.2018, 09.12.2018, 15.12.2018 & 16.12.2018 and the mains examination is scheduled on 20.01.2019IBPS Clerk 2018-19 notification for the recruitment of Clerks will be announced in the month of September. IBPS Clerk 2018 is a great opportunity for those candidates who have not been able to get through SBI and other Bank Recruitment Exams.

This time total number vacancies for IBPS PO 2019 exam will be announced on its official notification. As per last years IBPS Clerk 2017 Official Notification’ there were 7883 vacancies in total.

IBPS Clerk Examination Centre:

At the time of online application form, you will get the option to choose the examination center of your choice. However, IBPS can allow you a center other than the choice you made if there is non-availability of seats at preferred venues. No query will be allowed by IBPS in regards to change in the exam center.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Recruitment:

The process of recruitment for IBPS Clerk CWE have two stages:

Candidates have to pass in both of the above exams to get selected for the post of clerical cadre in most of the premier Public Sector Banks. The important thing to note is that there is no interview process required for the selection of the candidate after the mains exam. 100% weight is given to the result of mains exam result.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern:

The IBPS Clerk examination conducts in two stages: Prelims exam and Mains exam. Both these papers follow the online method of conducting the written examination. The structure of the exam is as follow:

Stage-1: IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination

The preliminary examination of IBPS for its Clerk CWE is an online examination testing a candidate’s IQ and their academic strength on the basis of their aptitude, intellect, and English. There is three division and candidate must have to clear the cut off of each division to proceed to the mains exam round. The Candidates need to solve the question paper in the time frame of 1 hour. The composite marks of paper are 100 and the qualifying marks are decided by IBPS.

Stage-2: IBPS Clerk Mains Examination:

A big modification has been detected in the Pattern of 2017 Examination. The whole duration and the number of questions asked in Mains Examination of IBPS Clerk 2017 Exam have been revised. In IBPS’s latest update now   IBPS Clerk Mains Examination will have 190 questions that need to be completed within a time frame of 160 minutes.

Earlier, The Reasoning Ability and  Computer Aptitude part used to be conducted individually. But, in the latest update by IBPS, both these sections are mixed together and will constitute of 50 questions that need to be solved in a fix time duration of 45 minutes. Now, Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam will be conducted in a different language, i.e. both in English and in Hindi. The Negative marking  for Wrong Answers:

Candidates those who are preparing for IBPS Exam they all must know that there is negative marking for incorrect answers marked in both preliminary examination as well as mains examination. An incorrect answer to an objective question will have to pay a penalty of one-fourth of the total mark assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for the question left blank or not answered.

 The Final Calculation Score for IBPS Clerk Examination:

IBPS Clerk exam final score is calculated keeping the following points in mind:

• The Marks achieved in the Preliminary Exam (stage-1) will not consider for IBPS Exam selection.

• The Candidates must have to qualify for  stage-2 to be eligible for final merit.

• The total score out of 100 is used for the final merit list for each category of the exam. Candidates with top merit rank in each category are finally selected.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Syllabus

The important three sections of the preliminary examination are English Language, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability. Every section has multiple subheadings to focus on when you are preparing for IBPS Clerk Exam CWE.

Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English Language is the syllabus and these are same for mains and preliminary exam.  General Awareness and Computer Knowledge are two additional two syllabi. The General Awareness is based on the Banking Sector awareness.

Eligibility Criteria For IBPS Clerk 2019:

The following Two eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk Exam 2018:

Age Limit: The applicants must be between 20 Years to 28 Years old. The Confirmed eligibility criteria for  Examination will be issued with the official notification.

Educational Qualification: A candidate must maintain the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a Government recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized. The candidate must have passed in English as one of the subjects at Intermediate or SSC and Graduation level.

Online Application IBPS Clerk 2018:

Candidates must arrange the following details before applying online:

1. A working E-mail Id.

2. A color Photograph and Signature scanned in the prescribed size

3. Application Fee must be paid online. so kindly arrange credit card, Debit card, and Online Banking details.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Call Letter And Admit Card

Candidates have to download the examination admit card from the official website of the bank because a hard copy of the IBPS Clerk Admit Card will not be sent to the candidates. Below is the login details that will need on the official website:

• Registration No/Roll No

• Date of Birth/ Password

The admit card will be made available 10 to 15 days before the IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam. The admit card or call letter for IBPS Clerk 2017 will be issued in 3 phases:

• Online Preliminary Examination

• Online Mains Examination

IBPS Clerk 2019 Result

IBPS will announce the results after completing each phase of the examination. The final category wise and state-wise merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the marks secured by candidates in their mains examination. if the  Candidates name mention in the merit list will then be considered for appointment for the post of clerk in Banks.
