How to become a CBI Officer

The applicants must have a Graduation Level from any acknowledged university/institute with at least 55% marks to apply for the CGL examination managed by SSC. The applicants should be between 20 to 25 years of age and be able to apply for the CGL examination.

How Can You Join CBI After The 12th?

To enter in CBI officer, You need to crack CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam). This exam was led by the SSC (Staff Selection Committee). TO become a CBI Officer, you have to pass Bachelor’s degree course in any stream from a recognized university. Your age should be 20 to 27 years. You cannot join CBI after the 12th.

  • To fit a group A officer in CBI, you must prefer the UPSC’s Civil Service Examination and be an IPS officer.
  • Now to join as Sub Inspector in CBI, you need to go over the SSC CGL examination.
  • To become a Sub Inspector in the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI ), you must fill the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam.

1). Crack Civil Services Examination to be led by UPSC and choose IPS. After a few years of service i.e., Five or more years, you can apply for Central Deputation. Moreover, you will become SP in CBI.

2). Rise in and crack UPSC examination for the post of DSP (Group A post) in CBI only!

The Subject Examination Method

Tier-I- is a Computer Based Objective Examination. Tier-2 is also Computer Based Objective Examination. Tier-III- is a Descriptive Written Test. Tier -IV is a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) / Document Verification. Now To become a Sub Inspector in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), you have to pass the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination. The Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) led by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has four stages. After the successful completion of all 4 phases, you can join CBI as Sub Inspector.
