National Defence Academy (NDA)

  • About Job: This is for joining the Indian Army. For Navy or Airforce, you need to be from Science background and have Physics & Chemistry as subjects.
  • Position – Airforce, Army, Navy.
  • Eligibility – Class 12 cleared from a recognized Board or University. Candidate has to be unmarried, Male and Physically Fit.
  • Age – 16.5 to 19.5 years.
  • Salary – Rs.80,000 /- approximately.

  • Selection Procedure – NDA Exam is organized by UPSC twice a year. Candidates will be provided training for all three services provided by the Indian armed forces.

  • Syllabus: Class 10 and 12 Mathematics for 300 marks and General Ability Test for 600 marks which are divided into 200 marks of English and 400 marks of General Knowledge. Offline mode examination and objective type questions.

  • About Job: Position of an Officer in the Engineering Core of the Army. After completing the 4 years training, the Cadet will be granted with permanent Commission in the Indian Army for the rank of Lieutenant.

  • Eligibility – Class 12 cleared from a Science Stream with 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Must be in healthy physically and mentally. The candidate also needs to be Unmarried and Male

  • About Job: These people are also called Person Below Officer Rank or PBOR. Group X is for Technicians in the Airforce and Group Y are for Non-Technical Departments of the Airforce
