Steps to register for the Common Law Admission Test

The student should follow the steps mentioned below to register for the entrance exam:

  1. Visit the official website of CLAT Consortium mention above.
  2. Find the link of registration for new user and click on it.
  3. Firstly you need to register yourself, you need to fill details like Candidate Name, Email Address & Mobile number, etc.
  4. Secondly, after sign in you need to fill the Application form and click on save & continue.
  5. Thirdly you need to upload your Documents, Passport size scanned photo & signature and click on save & continue.
  6. Fourthly you have to proceed for the payment for submitting the application form. You can make the payment via Net Banking/Debit Card/ Credit Card
  7. Now download, save and print copies of Confirmation Page after successful payment of fees.

How to Check CLAT Result

There are certain steps which you should follow to check your results:

  • Click on the official website of CLAT Consortium mention above.
  • Click on “CLAT Result 2020”
  • Now you will be redirected to the result page
  • Click on the login page of result
  • After clicking on it fill the required detail like your registration/application No & date of birth.
  • Once you submit the details you can view your result.
  • You can download the result in the form of PDF File.

Details of the Result

CLAT Result will be declared shortly after all the exams are over, so students are advised to keep their admit card properly as it has got important details like the registration/application No & date of birth. Without these important details, the candidate will not be able to have access to their result. The results will consist of the following information:

CLAT Exam Eligibility:

Students can check their eligibility to appear in the exam from the below table:

2. The candidates must have secured the following minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination):

  • 45% marks or its equivalent marks  in case of General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories
  • 40% marks or equivalent in case of SC/ST categories

3. Students  who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2020 are also eligible to appear in CLAT 2020

PG1)  No upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT 2020.

2)  The candidates must have secured the following minimum percentage of marks in the LL.B Degree or an equivalent examination:

  • 50% of marks or its equivalent marks in case of General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories
  • 45% of marks or its equivalent grade in the case of SC/ST categories.

3)      Students appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2020 are also eligible to apply.
