The IIM Indore has already released the CAT Exam Pattern on the official website. The students who will be applying for the Common Admission Test will have to fill the CAT Application form. Exam Pattern
The CAT Exam Pattern is based on three subjects which are Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Ability. The CAT exam is conducted for two slots 3 hours each viz, 9 am to 12 am and 2 am to 5 am. The students have to appear for the online exam and achieve the cut-off to get an admission in any of the prestigious IIMs. The marking scheme of the CAT exam is also present in the table below. The students will get 3 marks for every correct answer in the exam. But there is a deduction of 1 marks in every wrong answer.

Common Aptitude Test Syllabus
It is very important for a student who wishes to fill the CAT Application form to know the syllabus. The CAT is the toughest exam in India. hence the students should first go through the CAT Syllabus to get an overview of the whole examination process. There are three subjects that will be present in the exams such as Quantitative Ability, DI and LR, and VA and RC. There will be two types of question one which is MCQ and other is non MCQ. The students will have to solve the question and then mark the correct answer.
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
The DI and LR will have 32 questions, it will be equally divided into two sections. There will be 16 questions for each Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. The 16 questions will be further divided into 4 sets.

Quantitative Ability
The Quantitative Ability will have 34 questions in the exam. The students will have to answer the questions in the MCQ form. There are around 12 chapters which will be asked in the exam, the students will have to answer all the questions.

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
The last section is the VA and RC, where the question is asked from the English section. The total question asked in the exam is 32. The question will be asked from different sections of English, such as Grammar, Rc. The questions will also have a question from the jumbled sentence and a short paragraph. It is the most accessible section as there is no solving but only reading-based.

Common Admission Test Admit Card
IIM Indore will release the final CAT Admit Card for all the students who have applied for the examination above. The authority expected to release the admit card for the candidates’ entrance exam in September/October. The students can download the Common Aptitude Test Admit Card from the official website.
The students have to enter their roll number, and course name for downloading the admit card.
The Hall Ticket of CAT will contain important information regarding the exam; the candidate has to appear. The admit card contains the exam schedule. The students have to download the admit card and then take its print out for the exam.
CAT Result
The institute will publish the CAT Result within 15- 20 days of the exam. The candidates must keep a tab on the official website. They should check it regularly for any latest update. It assured a notification that the results for all the aspirants would be compiled after the exams are over. The candidates should, therefore, keep checking the website for the earliest information. The candidates should keep their roll numbers handy to check their results. Once the results are released, the candidates can appear for the counseling session of different colleges.
CAT Colleges Participating
It is the most prestigious examination of the country. Hence a lot of B-schools and IIMs participate in the CAT exam. The students can get admission in a lot of top IIM Colleges and business schools.
