Kerala Government has released the BEV Q App for people who wish to buy liquor from the shops. The app is launched by Kerala State Beverage Corporation of the Kerala Government. This app will help in promoting social distancing in the alcohol shops. The Kerala Government has launched a very unique initiative in the tough times of Corona for Liquor Store Online Booking.
The 4th phase of lock-down was announced on 18th May, post which the Kerala government decided to open liquor shops. But there was a failure at the base level as the people who went to buy liquor did not follow any social distancing rules. Therefore, to combat this the Kerala Government has come forward and launched an app. This app will offer E-token to people who wish to buy alcohol. The Kerala Government has launched a dedicated app named BEV Q app for the people who wish to buy and pay for the alcohol. They have asked all the buyers to register themselves under this app. The app will generate an E-token for the customer along with a date and slot. The customer who wishes to buy liquor has to reach the shop at the given time and slot. It is important to note that only those customers will be entertained who will carry the E-coupon.
This initiative will definitely help in promoting social distancing and avoid crowding at the liquor shops. It is the duty of the government to serve them with their demands but also ensure their safety. Apart from this, the government is also in touch with e-commerce websites like Zomato and Swiggy to start online delivery on the doorstep.
After the announcement of the 4th phase of lock-down, the state government has now allowed around all the liquor shops in Kerala to start their operations. But with this initiative, they will surely able to cut down the long lines in front of the shops.

How To Apply BEVCO Kerala for liquor purchase
It is very important to note that only those people who will carry the E-coupon can purchase the liquor. The people who want to avail the benefit of E-token for liquor shops online will have to download the BEV Q app. It is very important that the details in the form are correct. The applicant should follow the following details in the application form:

- Download the BEVCO Kerala app.
- Install the app on your smartphone
- Click on the Apply for e-coupon link.
- The applicant must fill the name of the applicant in the form correctly.
- The applicants must enter the date of birth.
- Post this choose your Gender.
- Fill all the other important details as asked in the form.
- After rechecking all the details submit the application form.
